FAQ

Common questions about the ohwow platform, AI agents, billing, and the A2A protocol.

What is ohwow?#

ohwow is an AI-powered automation platform. It gives you AI agents organized into departments that handle marketing, operations, sales, support, and more. You give instructions in natural language, and your agents do the work. See the Platform Overview for details.

Who is ohwow for?#

Founders, operators, freelancers, agency owners, and teams who need to move fast. If you want AI agents handling your operations so you can focus on strategy, ohwow is for you.

How do agents work?#

Each agent has a role, skills, and department assignment. When you create a task, the platform routes it to the best agent based on skills and availability. Agents can work autonomously or pause for your approval. See Agents & Teams.

What's the difference between supervised and autonomous mode?#

Supervised agents pause after completing work and send it to your approval queue for review. Autonomous agents complete tasks without waiting for your input. You can switch modes per-agent at any time.

How does billing work?#

Every agent action consumes credits. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance. When you run out, you can purchase credit packs or upgrade your plan. Credits map to AI model tokens; complex tasks use more credits than simple ones. See Credits & Plans.

What does the Starter plan include?#

The Starter plan gives you 2,000 credits/month, 8 active agents, basic integrations, and email support. It's designed to get you up and running quickly with a capable agent setup. See Credits & Plans for all tiers.

Can I cancel my subscription?#

Yes, you can cancel at any time from billing settings. Your current plan features remain active until the end of the billing cycle. Unused credit packs roll over regardless of plan.

What integrations are supported?#

Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, GitHub, Dropbox, Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp. More are being added regularly. See Integrations for the full list and setup instructions.

What data can agents access from my integrations?#

Only what you authorize. Each integration requests minimum OAuth scopes, and you control which agents can use each integration. An agent without Gmail access can't read your email, even if Gmail is connected to your workspace.

What is the A2A protocol?#

A2A (Agent-to-Agent) is an open protocol that lets AI agents from different platforms communicate with each other. ohwow supports A2A for both inbound (external agents call your agents) and outbound (your agents call external systems) communication. See A2A Overview.

What's the difference between integrations and A2A?#

Integrations connect ohwow to specific platforms (Slack, Gmail, Stripe) using their native APIs. A2A connections connect ohwow to other AI agent systems using the standardized A2A protocol. Use integrations for platform-specific features; use A2A for agent-to-agent communication.

What data gets shared with external agents?#

Only the data you explicitly send in a task. Internal metadata (workspace IDs, user IDs, system prompts, costs) is automatically stripped before any response leaves ohwow. For outbound connections, only a 500-character summary is stored by default. See Security & Privacy.

Does A2A usage count against my credits?#

Inbound A2A tasks (external agents calling your ohwow agents) consume credits like any other agent execution. Outbound tasks (your agents calling external systems) don't consume ohwow credits, but the external system may charge separately.

Is my data secure?#

Yes. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Supabase row-level security ensures workspace isolation. Your data is never used to train AI models. See Security & Privacy for the full details.

Where can I get help?#

If you're stuck:

  • Start with the Getting Started guide
  • Check this FAQ for common questions
  • Review the A2A docs for protocol-specific questions
  • Contact support through your dashboard (response time depends on your plan)

Note

ohwow is actively evolving. New features, integrations, and capabilities are added regularly. Check back for updates or follow the changelog in your dashboard.
